The Senior Section offers an exciting and flexible programme with a huge variety of challenges and opportunities for personal development.
As a senior section member there are lots of opportunities for you to work towards various awards, some are listed below.

Queens Guide
The Queen's Guide Award is the highest award members can work toward in guiding. It gives you the chance to develop your own skills while contributing to guiding and your local community at an impressive level! Its open to members aged 16 to 25 and must be completed within three years or before your 26th birthday, whichever is sooner. For more information click HERE For the application form click HERE
Chief Guides Challenge
The Chief Guide's Challenge is the second highest award that members can work towards in guiding. It's open to all Senior Section members aged 14-25

Senior Section Permit
Young Leader Qualification
The Young Leader Qualification is designed to help you take an active, positive part in running your Rainbows, Brownies or Guides unit. Its open to Senior Section members aged 14 to 16. After you turn 16 you can start working on the full Leadership Qualification.

The Duke of Edinburghs Award
Impress potential employers and universities with an achievement they know and respect.
