Rewarding achievement in Derbyshire
We all appreciate our team but have you ever looked at the awards available and considered putting some of your Leaders or young people up for an award.
In the presentation below, all awards that leaders and young people can be nominated for are explained, together with links to the nomination form where required.
County Award
Service to be recognised by this award should encompass reliability, loyalty and enthusiasm and demonstrate exceptional and/or outstanding and/or sustained service.
Nominees should be adult members of Girlguiding Derbyshire, or non members who actively supported Girlguiding in Derbyshire.
Nominations should be passed to the chair of awards.

Spirit of Guiding Award
This is for girls or young women between 5 years and their 26th Birthday who have shown that they have kept their promise and shown the true spirit of guiding.
Nominees must show a full understanding of and commitment to their promise, either over a period of time or by a single outstanding action.
Application forms should be completed and returned to the Chair of Awards by the end of March:
