Pax Hoh Campsite is situated in the southern end of the Peak National Park at Hulland Ward, four miles from the town of Ashbourne which has a selection of supermarkets, shops, a swimming pool and leisure centre.
The 2 acre self contained field provides a safe environment for up to 60 campers.
Facilities include:
A purpose brick built toilet block with showers.
Full disabled facilities featuring a separate combined toilet, shower wet room.
Payphone.
Electricity in the toilet block for hot water for sinks and showers (this is provided free).
Fridge/large fridge freezer.
A wooden building containing tables and benches so that is could be used for craft activities, or wet weather shelter, there's also a range of games and other resources kept in there for you to use if you wish.
Outside are a set of pioneering poles.
On site car park.
Campers may cook on gas or open fires, fire tables and alter fire stands are provided together with a wood pile for fuel.
For other entertainment there is also a camp fire circle.
Pax Hoh offers equipped camping for up to 60 campers for an extra £2.50 per person per night.
Equipped includes the following - Tentage, cooking utensils, gas burners, water boilers etc. for 60 campers.

Things to do nearby...
The site is in walking distance of Carsington Reservoir at approx 2.9 miles. Around the Reservoir there are way-marked nature trails, cycle track, bird watching hides and picnic areas. There is also a great visitor and education centre, shops, cafes and adventure playground with ample parking. Carsington Reservoir also has a large water sports centre with qualified instructors offering canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and rafting. It also has a cycle hire centre attached.
